“ My friend and I went to Miyako Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi bar for dinner Saturday evening. A wonderful experience!! It was late, almost 9. Not very busy. We were greeted by Jessica, a very nice, personable young woman. Very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered crab ragoon, which came out quickly and very tasty. Light on the wrapping and a lot of crab inside. We ordered our usual small rolls to share and our server Jessica gave us some info about some of the specialty rolls. We ordered the Sundae roll to share.. Well presented and oh SO delicious! Light on the rice.... ! I can honestly say this was some of the best sushi I have ever enjoyed!!! After our meal, The sushi chef came by our table and asked how our food was.... His name is Wayne and he is also the new owner of this wonderful restaurant. He talked with us about where he’s from, the food, his training in sushi prep. A very nice, humble man. We will definitely be back very soon!!! May just be my new every week treat to myself!! Make a date to try this wonderful restaurant! They also have a large hibachi area!! ”
“ The food here is amazing. We order out very often. We absolutely love the sushi here and we come here almost weekly for it. The owner is an amazing person! He's so funny and he recognizes us every time we come in. The most recent time we came (for a birthday party) he personally took care of our table after the waitresses literally argued over who would take us. We sat for a long time waiting for them and he finally came over. He gave us gifts for the wait and was clearly trying to save our business. I will continue to return here simply for the manager/owner, but next time I think we'll do the hibachi again. It was a little too busy for us this time. ”
“ This was our first visit here. We had the sushi. While I wouldn't consider myself a sushi expert, I've had my fair share. The sushi was excellent. You can tell they use quality ingredients (fish, veggies, shrimp, lobster, etc) The home made eel sauce was the best we've ever tasted. We'll definitely be back for more sushi and might even try the Hibachi grill. ”
“ Beautiful interior and great food. We tried the steak and shrimp teppanyaki, the crab rangoons, and the sushi jalapeno poppers— it was all delicious. Jalapeno poppers were my favorite thing! Highly recommend for a visit. We went on a weekend but during the week they have lunch specials that we’ll definitely be back for as well! ”
“ The food here was great, and so was the service! I enjoyed the Happy Mama roll and my family loved their hibachi meals. Will definitely be back to try another roll and some ramen soon. ”
“ Had an early Father’s Day dinner with friends. Ordered the steak and chicken hibachi dinner and an order of Alaska Roll sushi. Service was fast and friendly! The Alaska roll was delicious! Even my wife, who tragically shuns sushi, was coaxed into trying a couple pieces and agreed it was pretty good! The ginger salad had a bold flavor that I enjoyed. The soup was about what you would expect for a Japanese steakhouse. The cooking show wasn’t anything you likely haven’t seen at another hibachi restaurant, but it is welcome all the same. There are even accommodations for little ones and car seats, which we appreciated having available. I’ve been a long time diner at the former Fuji’s steakhouse that was here previously, and the updated decor is a welcome change from the past. Pricing may be a bit much for a regular casual patron, but you will almost certainly leave with a full belly and enough leftovers for a second light meal, so the price is worth what you receive for it. I’m looking forward to my next visit and sampling more sushi options! ”
“ We were down visiting family and had dinner there and it was the best Hibachi food I’ve ever had, hands down with arguably the best hibachi chef, Thomas, I’ve ever seen! He was fun and did some tricks we hadn’t seen before along with preparing incredible food. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Fried rice was spot on. Veggies cooked perfectly. And great service from our waitress as well! My 5 year old loved it and is still talking about it today! I highly recommend it! ”
